The Duke of Lazio: Sleep, sad sunrise
Let those who rest say their goodbyes
Let those who rest sleep forever
Let those who rest sleep forever
Sleep, warm sunlight
Let flowers wither down
Let she weep no more on this earth
But smile above the clouds
When she danced about, she lifted my heart
When she stood still, I was in a whole world apart
Such grace was lost to this world
No more ships shall sail
No more shall her friends trail
She stays behind in her blooming youth forever
Sleep, my newest daughter

Chorus: Hide your eyes from these storm clouds
Peace and starlight await you
Sleep in the eternal moonbeams
That grace the halls of Heaven
Sleep in unending dream
Sleep in unending dream

LAST SONG! I'm DONE! YEA! (well, for now. I got dialogue to do)

The Duke of Lazio found out about the three people's deaths, and mourns one person most of all. The end.

I must say once again, you did a fantastic job.

Your opera pulled me in right from the beginning, like I told you before, and I felt like I was standing by the characters, watching them mourn and sing. I could definitely see this becoming a live opera.

It was very well written, and you should be proud of it.

Bravo, or Brava~

:D I'm so glad you liked it. It truly was a labor of love and I never hated this for a moment (except when I had to re-do I Know Nothing), which was a good thing, since I usually hate my work.

I'd love to see it on the stage, and even if my work becomes like Antonio Salieri's (grossly disliked for its repetative nature), whatever, at least it got published. XD

I wish you best of luck on getting it on stage! :D

Thanks, I'll need all the luck I can get. Not a lot of people watch opera, nowadays.

Doesnt mean "nobody" does. Operas are actually common in some areas.
:icongothiquehobbit:
True, in the places they originate from. I went to an opera once, and only the very old were there. My friend Jake and I were the only people in our age group. I would just like more people my age to like it.

It's so pretty, and poetic, but most people don't care about poetic beauty anymore. They wanna focus on bare midriffs and watery plots on the television. *sigh*
