My, my... What a week!

Sat Oct 10, 2009, 4:58 PM
  • Mood: Not Impressed
  • Listening to: Breathe- Anna Nalick
It started out so nice, with the start of a screenplay with my friend, Jake. I was happy to be able to use a Scouse (Liverpool) accent for it.

Then, Tuesday came, and I began to get "saggy" emotionally, since my inspiration and will to write is nil right now. My mother is sick right now, and it's incurable, so she's gotta go through this until the end, and me as well, once I hit her age, as this thing is hereditary.

Wednesday, I had a frightening period of atheism, which I am fighting off still with vigorous prayers day in and day out. My gosh, I really need guidance in my life.

Thursday, ... THURSDAY! (KHAAAAAAN!) I had a huge ol' spat with my chatroom, WLC, over my writing style, which has been suffering lately due to a lack of inspiration, and a lack of experience with carrying out certain poetic forms. These people had the NERVE to say that I have had enough experience in writing for two years to be able to write well. Uh, no, two years is a tiny dot in a chart of experience. They say my poetry has no voice, and is just "flowery". I agree with the last one, but, well, I like writing flowery stuff. I can EMOTE better. Idiots.

Friday, I was still stewing over Thursday. I saw a burning red pick-up truck in the middle of my street. The engine overheated or something, but the whole front of it was engulfed in flames, and the paint was burned completely off of it, so it looked like The Terminator towards the end of about every movie. It was really cool-looking, but I hope the drive got out in time to be okay. There was no ambulance with the investigation team, so that means he either got out or was burnt to a crisp by the flames. I hope it is the former.

Saturday, which is today, I am STILL stewing, but I am feeling better. I got Chinese to eat today, after a long wait, and my sister was nice enough to surprise me by buying me Saawariya, a Bollywood film, while she was out at Big Lots. :D We watched it together, and I equate it with an Indian Moulin Rouge!, from the tone, visual quality, and slightly similar plot points. It was a meh film, but, hey, the lead guy was cute, and I got to see Salman Khan in an ugly hat. XD

Sunday is yet to come, but, I am going to a sort of "19th Century Fair" with my family. I. LOVE. THAT. PLACE. UGH.

OOOOO-SAAWARIYA!!! Yes the lead guy is the cutest indian I've yet to see!!!XD

Well, you're inspiration could stem off your mother's illnes(best regards-do tell her that Demitri says getwell and good lluck) or the fact that the illness is going to become your brden, like a looming figure, overshadowing those years...oh, I don't know!

Yay, Ranbir Kapoor! And, you know, he looks a lot like a certain playback singer named Sonu Niigaam, which is great, since Sonu is also cute (and... married...)

My mum's okay, right now. As good as she can be with a thyroid condition, but she's fine. I'll cope with my own, I'm sure.

I haven't been inspired by mother's ongoing illness, yet, but maybe one day.
